Subject: The New York Stem Cell Foundation Summer Internship Program

Description:
Each year, approximately ten diverse, high-achieving undergraduate and
graduate students are selected to work in New York City as part of the NYSCF
Summer Internship Program, or NYSCF University, a ten week unique summer
enrichment internship program that provides students a rare glimpse into the
fast-paced world of stem cell research, insight into life at an
entrepreneurial nonprofit research institute, exposure to career
opportunities in science, and connections to valuable professional and peer
networks.

Participants have the opportunity to gain direct experience with stem cells
and science through joining one of three program tracks – by conducting
scientific research or computer science engineering at the NYSCF Research
Institute or by joining one of the teams at the office headquarters, which
range from scientific programs to communications and government relations to
external affairs, among others.
