This semester, MNS is hosting its second ever graduate student panel! Our
first event last semester was fascinating and students found it helpful and
insightful. The graduate students will tell us what it's like to apply to
grad school, work in a lab, apply for grants, etc., and will answer any and
all questions you may have. This is also a fantastic opportunity for
networking.
Unsure of your career plans? Come on out! One of the best ways to learn
about a field you might be interested in is to talk to current experts in
the field. The grad students all have EXTREMELY varied backgrounds and
research interests so there will be something valuable for everyone.
Interested in med school? No problem! The grad students can still offer
valuable insight into what kinds of people are more likely to succeed in med
school or grad school.
Last but not least- we will have free pizza and drinks, courtesy of NACS
(the neuroscience and cognitive science graduate/research program)!!!
All majors are welcome, so come and bring your friends and have some FREE
PIZZA!!!!!
When: Wednesday, November 16 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Where: Bio-Psych Building room 1208
