Do you love plants and want to learn more about plant biology? I am looking
for a sophomore or junior student I can train several hours (5-10) a week to
help manage my greenhouse and growth chamber experiments. My lab is located
at the USDA-BARC Agricultural Research Station in Beltsville, Maryland,
about 5-10 minutes away from the UMCP Campus. My lab focuses on genomics
and biochemistry of the strawberry. A trained and motivated person will be
eligible for summer hire next year (May 2012) and can move into a paid
student internship next fall (September 2012). Applicant must be a U.S.
citizen or have a green card. Please contact Dr. Janet Slovin (
[log in to unmask]) or Britney Hardy ([log in to unmask]) with
your resume for more information about the position.
