BECOME A HELP CENTER VOLUNTEER!
The Help Center is a Peer Counseling and Crisis Intervention Hotline
at the University of Maryland. Volunteers are trained to talk with
students on the phone and in person about anything that's troubling
them including homesickness, relationships, sexual assault, and
suicide.
Freshman or Sophomore standing preferred.
If you're interested in becoming a Help Center Volunteer Counselor,
call 301-314-HELP to set up an interview.
The Help Center is located at 3105 South Campus Diner
If selected, you must be available February 28th from 6:30-9:00 pm and
March 2 & 3 from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
