Subject: Tobacco Smoking Study - Earn $275
Description:
Description: The Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS) at the
University of Maryland School of Public Health in College Park is seeking
cigarette smokers and smokeless tobacco users to participate in a study to
provide new information on the types of bacteria present in the mouth.
Participation involves 4 visits to our center lasting less than 2 hours each.
To be eligible: Be a current cigarette smoker or smokeless tobacco user, be
in good health, be willing to answer questions, be 18 to 55 years old, be
willing to provide saliva and buccal (mouth and tongue) swab samples, be
wiling to comply with research study requirements. Women who are pregnant or
breastfeeding may not participate.
Students will be reimbursed for time and travel up to $275.
