Interested in volunteering with kids with disability?

Easter Seals Respite Services is looking for volunteers for our respite events. One Saturday a month, Easter Seals Respite Services has a respite event where volunteers are paired with children who may have a moderate to severe disability or with their typically developing sibling. We also pair volunteers at our respite event with "Little Warriors" who are typically developing children whose parent or parents are wounded soldiers. Our next respite event is on October 6th, where you will be paired with a child, based on your experience level, as we kick off the fall season at a Pumpkin Patch and a Petting Zoo!! This will be a day full of out-door activities with pumpkin decorating, petting farm animals, arts and crafts while making a lasting impact on the lives of the children and their family members.

We are conveniently located in Silver Spring MD with easy metro access and free parking.
