Subject: Trauma Therapy Group For Male Survivors of PBV
Description: This Spring 2021, CARE to Stop Violence will offer Stronger
Together, a trauma therapy group for male-identified survivors who have
experienced some form of power-based violence (PBV) in their lifetime. Common
experiences of PBV include sexual assault, childhood abuse, intimate partner
violence, and stalking. This group will address common myths, provide
information and resources to assist with coping and healing, and create
opportunities for mutual support. Groups can be a valuable part of the
healing process by providing a safe place to share thoughts and feelings with
others who have experienced similar trauma. This group is a confidential,
closed group that is trans-inclusive.
