*Tuesday, December 5, 2017 @ 7:00 p.m.*
*Zupnik Lecture Hall, 1110 Kim Engineering Building*

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first chain reaction experiment
which took place on December 2, 1945, the UMD Radiation Facilities and
American Nuclear Society Student Chapter are hosting a talk by John
Coster-Mullen.

Over a period of 20 years, Coster-Mullen pieced together a full-scale
replica of the Little Boy Uranium bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. This
led to the publication of his book titled *Atom Bombs: The Top Secret
Inside Story of Little Boy and Fat Man*.

Should you have any questions, please contact Tim Koeth, director of the
Radiation Facilities, at: [log in to unmask]

Please join us on this special occasion!

See you there!
