Subject: BSCI 348M: Epidemiology of Microbial Pathogens

Description: Are you interested in public health, medicine, and/or disease
biology? Are you looking to earn course credit in an approachable, online
environment? Consider enrolling for BSCI 348M: Epidemiology of Microbial
Pathogens this winter term. This asynchronous online course introduces
students to the essentials of epidemiology with a specific focus on the
public health ramifications of bacterial and viral pathogens. Students will
likewise have an opportunity to engage with their peers in discussions about
current healthcare trends and concerns (e.g., antibiotic resistance;
vaccination practices), apply their knowledge to case studies in the field,
and create online media to explore a disease or disorder of interest to them
in greater detail. Students interested in the course are encouraged to
contact Dr. Jeffrey Olimpo ([log in to unmask]) with any questions or concerns
they might have!
