Subject: Mentor Recruitment for College Mentors for Success

Description:
Hello UMD Students!
College Mentors For Success (CMFS) is currently looking for mentors who will
work closely with high school students at College Park Academy (CPA) focused
on college preparation! Mentors will work in groups of three and plan
workshops tailored to key goals for 6-8 students in one of the four grade
levels (9th-12th grade). We are looking to recruit a diverse group of mentors
with different academic interests/goals and backgrounds. All events and
meetings will likely be virtual until further notice.

We hope to continue to work closely with CPA and to expand our services to
other schools in Prince George’s County, since there is a large gap in
college readiness and high school dropout rates when compared to the state
and national levels.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor with CMFS, please fill out our
interest form: ter.ps/cmfsmentor. Interviews will begin after finals from
Thursday, May 20th - Friday, May 28th!

If you want to learn more or have any questions, please refer to our website
(ter.ps/cmfs) and/or email us at [log in to unmask] Be part of the
change today!
