NASA Interdisciplinary Wildfire Part-time Job Description

We are seeking a computer science student who has taken CMSC 216/416 to help
us (1) translate code from MATLAB to C, (2) increase the efficiency of our
parallelized code on both local servers and supercomputer clusters (NASA
Center for Climate Simulations), and (3) help benchmark git update test runs.
The student will join our phenomenal team for multiple
consecutive/nonconsecutive semesters to work on a NASA Wildfire project that
leverages multiple areas of expertise and disciplines.

Desired skillsets:
● High motivation and initiative to carry on research, work independently,
and in a team
● Excellent oral and written expression in English
● Intermediate-Advance level familiarity with one or more of the following
computer languages: C and MATLAB
● GPA >= 3.2
