Assists in the design and coding of software product components, units, and
modules according to detailed specifications
Participates in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or
enhancing existing software
Participates in the analysis and development of test plans
Analyzes test results and recommends corrections to more experienced software
engineers.
Participates in the writing and updating of technical documentation such as
user manuals, system documentation, and training materials
Participates in systems modeling, simulation and analysis
Troubleshoots problems and provides customer support for software operating
system and application issues
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Participates in special projects as assigned.
*THIS IS NOT AN INTERNSHIP, we are targeting Juniors and Sophomores so that
we can get you into the clearance process while you continue in your studies.
Since our jobs require a high level security clearance upon starting with the
company, we are offering contingent offers of employment to younger students
to get the process started early on, allowing you to start at the customer
location on day 1 after graduation. Applicants will be required to go through
the process and should be willing and able to obtain a government clearance
in order to report to work. Employment will be contingent on successful
completion of the Background Investigation and Polygraph.
Qualifications
Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,
Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination
of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
0-2 years of related software development experience.
Basic knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
