"How Bacteria Talk To Each Other”

Bonnie Bassler is doing research that focuses on the molecular mechanisms that bacteria use for intercellular communication, known as "quorum sensing." This research is paving the way to the development of novel therapies for combating bacteria. Prof. Bassler has been a featured speaker at the popular TED conference and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Please join us for this lively presentation which will be followed by a Q&A. A reception will precede the event in the Ulrich Hall lobby, Tawes.
