DHS has kick-started a focused DHS hiring initiative to address over 2,000
cybersecurity vacancies across the Department and to promote an enduring DHS
cybersecurity presence.  The DHS Secretary's Honors Program (SHP), for Cyber,
is a new initiative to recruit, retain and reward the best and brightest
recent graduates for a career at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The SHP was established for a select group of skilled individuals who will
benefit from expanded career and growth opportunities through a tailored
development program.
