Description:
The MBC STEM Academy is a four week summer program during the month of July
designed for college students from top universities to provide mentoring,
teaching, and tutoring for high school students from the Herndon, VA area in
AP/high school math and science courses. The program also prepares recently
immigrated high school students from Latin America for ESOL Math and Science
courses. We uniquely guide high school students through bilingual independent
research projects into STEM areas such as computer science, linguistics,
