The Department of Environmental Science and Technology (ENST) is seeking an
undergraduate to work up to 20 hours per week updating the website
www.enst.umd.edu
Position Responsibilities:
ENST seeks a self-disciplined, motivated undergraduate web developer to
assist in the maintenance of the ENST website (http://enst.umd.edu). Primary
responsibilities include making CSS and HTML edits within Drupal, an
open-source Content Management system replacing Cascade. Additionally, there
will be some webpage content writing and editing, picture manipulation, and
user support required.
Qualifications:
Applicant must have solid experience with HTML and CSS. The desired
undergraduate student will have some experience using PHP and some web
design experience. Drupal experience is a strong plus. Stong English writing
skills are required as well as the ability to clearly communicate with
faculty, staff, and students. Must be a responsible, hard-working,
self-starter, able to complete tasks within deadlines!
