Subject: STEPS is seeking UX/UI Design Interns!

Description:
STEPS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that connects volunteers with K-12 families
seeking personalized, one-on-one, long-term, and affordable tutoring and
college advising services and donates nearly 100% of revenue towards
improving STEM education for kids from low-income communities through
targeted grants and scholarships. To date, STEPS has raised ~$16,000 and
recently launched the STEPS for Support Grant Foundation for nonprofit
organizations.

What We Are Looking For:

➢ Strong interest and passion for design and development of engaging user
experiences for consumers on web and mobile.
➢ A self-motivated individual with the ability to dedicate 5-10 hours per
week.
➢ An eye for creating elegant, easy-to-use interfaces with a rich and
complex set of features
➢ Well-versed with Wix & experience with HTML, CSS, JS, UX design is an
added bonus!

What You Will Be Working On:
➢ Redesigning our website to maximize consumer action, minimize bounce
rate, increase retention rate, and effectively showcase our impact
➢ Working with our marketing team to design landing pages that work
synergistically with our Google Ad campaigns
➢ Pitching design mock-ups and additional features at weekly team meetings
