Student Entertainment Events and Pepsi Present: Art Attack XXVIII
Featuring Nelly & Brenton Duvall

Nelly and Duvall bring a variation of hip-hop, rap and mash-up music
to Maryland campus

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Student Entertainment Events and Pepsi are pleased
to announce the 28th annual Art Attack concert, featuring Nelly and
special guest Brenton Duvall. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in
Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium on Friday, May 6. Doors open at
5:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 with a valid UMCP ID and $20 for the general
public and can be purchased at the Hoff Theater Ticket Office in the
Adele H. Stamp Student Union or online at www.umdtickets.com. Tickets
are currently on-sale.

Rapper, singer-songwriter, executive producer and actor, Nelly,
started his solo music career in 2000 with Universal Records. Well-
known “Hott in Herre” and “Dilemma” were among the artist’s earliest
music hits. In 2009, Billboard named Nelly the #3 Top Artist of the
Decade. Most recently, Nelly released the album 5.0 with lead single,
“Just a Dream.” Nelly will provide entertainment for all at Art Attack
XXVIII bringing with him a sense of nostalgia for old fans, and
creating memories for new fans. Visit http://www.nelly.net/ to hear
the most recent music from Nelly.

“Mean, Planes and Taylor Gangs” producer, Brenton Duvall got his start
as a member of the Washington DC based music crew known as the Potomac
Boys Club. Now considered by many to be the next big emerging DJ to
hit the club scene, it is no surprise Duvall is currently a chart
topper on heralded music blogs like HypeMachine. Known for his unique
remixes and mash-ups of some of today’s most popular songs, Duvall is
excited to be opening for Art Attack in his first hometown
performance. To listen to Duvall’s “Mean Planes and Taylor Gangs” head

“Student Entertainment Events continues the tradition of Art Attack by
capping off a full day of events on McKeldin Mall with Nelly
headlining our annual concert,” said Mike Goland, SEE Concert
Director. “The Grammy award winning artist is to perform his old and
new hits including Country Grammar, Hot in Herre, Ride Wit Me, and
Just A Dream!”
