Subject: Volunteers needed at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural
History

Description:
Are you a Life-Long Learner? Are You Interested in Nature? Are You Curious?
Then, Q?rius (pronounced curious), is the place for you.

Join our dedicated volunteer team that encourages visitor exploration in fun,
experimental, and creative activities. Q?rius was created for 10-18 year olds
to deepen their interest in nature, culture, and science. Through real-world
interactions with scientists, and tactile experiences with thousands of
authentic objects, visitors can unleash their curiosity with surprising
results.

TRAINING WILL INCLUDE:
Discovering behind-the-scenes scientific research;
Exploring activity content;
Understanding the museum education approach;
Working with multi-generational visitors;
Examining scientist communication techniques.

Training begins September 28th. Must be 18 years of age or older.
