Subject: Assay development consultant needed

Description:
Consultant needed with broad assay development experience in both immuno
(ELISA)  and molecular (PCR, qPCR, SNPs etc) assays.  3-5+  years of research
and laboratory experience is preferred.   The position could involve a
combination of advisory and hands on laboratory work based upon the
candidate's experience.  The position could we shared by one or more regional
start-up companies in the Rockville/Baltimore areas who are developing assays
for both clinical and research applications.  Experience and expertise with
assay validation, understanding performance metrics, meticulous assay design
for reproducibility, dynamic range, creative problem solving to optimize
specificity and sensitivity for achieving target goals is required.
Experience in preparing SOPs, lab flow , sample handling and quality control
systems is desirable.    Consultant should be a self starter  and available
to work up to  20 hours per week.  Please send resume and cover letter
