​At this GBM, UMD Pre-Medical Society will host several members from the
Office of Student Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine
(UMSOM) who will discuss the UM Scholars program, an exciting opportunity
for students to participate in a research project for 10 weeks over the
summer and receive a stipend of $4,500! Scholars will have the opportunity
to present their findings in a formal setting and develop networking skills
with medical professionals. We are honored to host Dr. Carey, Qi Cao, and
Dr. Fantry, all of whom are vital members from the Office of Student
Research which oversees the UM Scholars program. Come out to this event to
learn of the exciting opportunities available through the UM Scholars
program as well as gain insider tips on how to form a competitive
application! This event will take place in ARM0131 at 6:30PM. We hope to
