FYI
--------

The Department of Education Policy Studies

and

The University of Maryland Office of International Affairs

invite students to meet with

Egyptian Human Rights Activists

Thursday April 10, 2:00-4:00, 2101 Benjamin Bldg.

Our Egyptian guests, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Mohamed Gamal Bishr, and Abdallah Helmy, would like to talk about the Egyptian democratic experience from their

eyes and about the development of the internet blogging movement in Egypt. They are participating in the New Generation fellowship program, through which they
have been gaining hands-on experience with local organizations around the US. After returning to their countries, these fellows will become part of a network of
activists throughout North Africa who are working together to achieve political and democratic reforms.
