First Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,

The XI Annual International Conference of the Bulgarian Comparative Education Society will be held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 14 - 17 May 2013. The Conference theme is: Education in One World: Perspectives from Different Nations.

Plovdiv is a very old and beautiful city. It is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Plovdiv is located 150 km southeast of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. BCES will organize bus shuttle from Sofia Airport to Plovdiv.

I am honored to invite you to attend the Conference and submit a paper that will be included in the BCES Conference Book, Vol. 11, 2013. As always, the Conference Book will be published before the beginning of the Conference.

The Conference thematic sections are:

1. Comparative Education & History of Education
2. Pre-service and In-service Teacher Training & Learning and Teaching Styles
3. Education Policy, Reforms and School Leadership
4. Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Social Inclusion
5. Intercultural Education of Children from Preschool Age to Adolescence

The deadline for registration and paper submission is 1 February 2013.
