Good Afternoon,
The TransApps Program, part of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is currently seeking applicants for the 2013 Summer Internship Program. TransApps designs, develops, trains, and tracks a complete system of applications and services to make a Department of Defense secure handheld device for a variety of military and law enforcement users.
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that relate to software and its implementation in the DoD. Internship fields include, but are not limited to, software development, systems engineering, technology testing, marketing, and graphic design. Interns gain experience in a professional software development environment while networking for their future careers; exceptional interns have been offered positions with the program as full time employees after graduation.
Our office is in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, VA. We are located on the orange Metro line just outside of Washington, D.C.. Positions are paid and last for two months. Spots are limited, applicants are encouraged to apply early.
To apply, interested students must email a resume, number of credit hours completed, and a brief explanation as to why he or she should be considered for employment to Sara Rubinstein, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
