Postdoctoral position in CFD at Virginia Tech
A post-doctoral position in computational fluid dynamics is available
with Professor Yuriko Renardy in the Mathematics Department at Virginia Tech.
Work involves computational study of viscoelastic and surfactant effects in
flows consisting of two liquids, with a particular focus on the implementation of
an in-house volume-of-fluid algorithm to track the breakup of
a drop of liquid suspended in another liquid. A PhD in mathematics, engineering
or related science is required for the position. Strong computing skills and a
background in CFD are essential. Applicants should submit
