CONSIDER: Suppose all key distillation columns within a company are 
equipped so that accurate real time material and heat balances can be 
determined around each column. This information would be shared in real 
time both locally and with the global enterprise (Corporate Management, 
Safety, Security, Environment, Maintenance, Engineering, Process 
Improvement Groups, R&D, etc). You could also envision how this query 
would fit other processes.

What advantages do you see?  Your ideas and your "dreams" would be
appreciated.  Results of this query will be shared with all who respond.  
As Session Chair, I will also present these results in the "Smart 
Manufacturing Plants Prevent Problems" session at the AIChE Meeting in 
Salt Lake City, November 4-9, 2007.
