Two postdoctoral positions are available in the School of Engineering at Laurentian University. 

They are in industrial process control and sustainable systems. 

Successful candidates will be expected to liaise directly with industry and focus on one of the following areas:


*   Dynamic modelling and control of integrated ventilation and air conditioning systems for mines

*   Modeling, analysis and control of mineral processing and metallurgical systems

*   Sustainable development through optimizing utilization of industrial and mining resources, including waste heat and water


The candidates should hold a PhD in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related field. 

A very competitive salary is available for well qualified individuals.

Initial appointment of the positions is for one year, renewable to two years subject to excellence of performance.
