Hello,

 I am a graduate student in UMCP's iSchool, Looking for a clean,
friendly, mature roommate (preferably female due to shared living
situation) to share a two-bedroom apartment in Kensington, MD (about
13 miles from campus) with the possibility of carpooling to UMCP,
starting in or around January 2008.

    * The apartment complex is small and in within walking distance to
the MARC train and metrobus stops, and very close to the Wheaton and
Grovesnors Mill (red line) metro stations. The town of Kensington is
VERY safe, friendly, and has a nice, small-town feel. It is quiet and
a good environment for those looking to get away from the college
scene and focus on schoolwork, but it's close enough to travel to
College Park for social events and classes. There is a Safeway grocery
store within walking distance from the apartment. The Wheaton Mall and
Giant Supermarket are also nearby, and accessible via metrobus.

    * The apartment is an average size, with separate living, kitchen,
and dining areas. There is one bathroom and there are two separate
bedrooms, each with a large closet. The room I am looking to rent out
has a bed and a dresser. Rent is $600 a month per person and includes
all utilities (each room has its own AC unit). Wireless internet is
available; we split $20/month. Cable is also a possibility, but I
don't know how much it costs.

    * As for me, I don't do a lot of partying, but I do occasionally
like to have friends over for movies, dinner, whatever. I may have
family and/or friends from out of town who will occasionally stay over
for visit, but this would be arranged ahead of time. I enjoy cooking
and baking, and I like animals. One or two well behaved cats are more
than welcome.
