A postdoctoral position is immediately available at the Department of
Mechanical Engineering at MIT. The position is in the area of
renewable energy generation. The main research task will be
optimization of a novel solar-thermal process, in collaboration with
technology experts.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in an enginneering discipline with
focus on mathematical modeling. Expertise in numerical optimization is
particularly desired but not required. Excellent communication skills
are a must. Prior research in energy systems is a plus.
