Process Control and Optimization Engineering Internship

ExxonMobil Chemical is seeking an intern for a Process Control Application 
Engineering position in its Core Engineering Department.  The internship is 
for work within our real time optimization (RTO) or model predictive 
control (MPC) program areas.  Knowledge and experience in the following 
areas is a plus:   
     Fundamental steady state and dynamic modeling 
     Nonlinear programming 
     Open equation modeling

Applicants must be pursuing a PhD degree in an area related to control and 
optimization.  Students pursuing Chemical Engineering degrees and who are 
relatively early in their research program are preferred. The work location 
is the engineering technology center in Baytown, Texas. 

Applicants must be able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and 
persuasively.  They must be able to interact effectively with peers, across 
organizational lines, and in diverse teams.
