Practical Training for Chemical Engineer at the MIT Energy Initiative
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Energy Initiative (MITEI) has a
year-long position for recent Chemical Engineering graduates seeking
practical training experience in simulation of energy conversion
processes. This process-simulation-intensive position will be responsible
for development, enhancement, standardization, testing and documentation
of process models for key sections of the IGCC and Polygeneration
flowsheets being developed in a research project at the MIT Energy
Initiative. This work will include flowsheet modeling of steam plants,
CO2 capture and various conversion reactors.
Candidates must have a BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering and at
least one year of experience using Aspen Plus.
