Description:
After a year of paid training by founder, will manage Activiteca's programs for the public and for local school teachers, utilizing a large collection of educational resources. Will employ and promote the use of interactive, small-group methods, and create programs to meet local educational needs. Will work within the structure of Funadeh, in its Central Didactica in Chamelecon, a low-income part of San Pedro Sula. Min. 2 years, will train successor.

Additional Qualifications:
Must have strong background in science and math. Experience in using interactive, small-group methods and in training teachers in these methods. Strong skills in both languages. Collaborative, can handle difficult situations, create solutions to problems, work with limited resources. Desirable: experience with library work, Montessori, special ed, poverty. Must do a demo lesson in science/math, in person or send on video.
