Information Specialist -- Reference Librarian

Minimum Qualifications: Quickly growing private business is looking for Reference Librarian to work on a 5-year federal government library contract. Successful candidate must have a MLS with minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience and a thorough knowledge of best practices in library reference and information services; demonstrated experience providing reference, instruction, and specialized training in science or technology setting; strong interpersonal and customer services skills; familiarity with customer relations management or reference tracking software; ability to adapt new software and incorporate into existing workflows. Library is part of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and knowledge of DOT modal administrations and their functions; knowledge of transportation and related fields such as safety, energy and the environment, economics, and finance is preferred.
