McLean, VA is looking for a *Research Specialist*.

*Primary Job Functions (including, but not limited to):*

· Research market, technical, industry and company issues by
accessing internal resources and external vendors and resources

· Research, analyze and respond to requests for information and
data about the industry in support of the economic, market and business
planning functions of the Strategic Information and Research Department

· Coordinate specialized research projects with appropriate
members of the departmental staff

· Prepare papers, reports and presentations for use by members
and staff in relation to the responsibilities of the position

· Synthesize input and materials from internal and external
resources and integrate into an industry specific informative piece

· Assist with the marketing and promotion of Strategic
Information and Research programs and services

· Keep abreast of new data sources or changes in existing data
sources that may potentially be used by the department

 

*Requirements:*

· BS Degree and experience with Lexis/Nexis, DataSource or Dialog

· At least two years’ related work experience
