Cataloger 

Minimum Qualifications: Quickly growing private business is looking for a Cataloger to work on a 5-year federal government library contract. Successful candidate must have a MLS; demonstrated experience in information organization, original and copy cataloging, and metadata (at least 3 years); thorough knowledge of MARC and non-MARC cataloging standards, OCLC tools and services, thesaurus and taxonomy development, indexing and abstracting, and other national and international standards affecting cataloging and classification; knowledge of transportation or related disciplines; demonstrated experience providing specialized training in a library setting; strong interpersonal and customer services skills; ability to scan environment, evaluate solutions, adapt new software, and incorporate into existing workflows.
