Head Start: Upgrading a Legacy Taxonomy System (Or Resuscitating a Dinosaur)

Description: A content restructuring initiative created hundreds of 
instances of outdated metadata in a taxonomy which no one understood, 
and which had not been updated in three years. What would you have done?
