experience, as well as technical expertise.

supports knowledge management software for use in archives, libraries
and information centers, museums, publishing houses, and other
information-intensive environments. Our flagship product is STAR, a
customizable system for applications where it is vitally important to
manage descriptive or full text--and associated electronic files--and to
provide fast, precise, browser-based retrieval.

Our position, which could be in either our headquarters office in West
Los Angeles, CA or in our customer-support headquarters in Silver
Spring, MD, will involve a combination of applications development,
customer training, and customer support. Thus, the person we hire must

interleave them effectively.
Since we are software development company, rather than an archive, the
person we seek must have a strong interest in information systems
technology. And since most of the work we do involves interaction with
our customers, the person we hire must have excellent communication
skills and a service orientation.
