I am an iSchool alumna (Dec 2007) currently working as a contractor at
the Library of Congress. I have been sharing a spacious 2 bedroom/2
bathroom apartment with a former classmate of mine, but she has just
moved out of the area. The lease on my apartment runs until December
31, 2009, so I am looking for a roommate from September to December
2009.

The apartment is about 3 blocks northeast of the Silver Spring metro
on the corner of Colesville Road and Spring Street.  It is within
walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.  The
apartment living room, kitchen, and dining room are pretty well
furnished. The apartment is on the 10th floor and has a balcony. There
are laundry facilities in the apartment basement, as well as a small
exercise room.  If the rent is split evenly, the cost would be $982.50
per person per month, but I am open to discussing this.  The only
other monthly fee is the internet bill.

I would describe myself as a cheerful and quiet person.  I don't have
any pets and I don't smoke.  During weekends and some evenings, I
enjoy sailing small boats or volunteering on the local schooner.  If I
am at the apartment, I am often writing or researching for fun.
