Dear Colleagues,
Two postdoctoral fellowship positions are available in the lab of Prof.
Donald Mager, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SUNY Buffalo. The
two projects focus on pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD)
modeling and simulation in the disease states of oncology and rheumatoid
arthritis, respectively. While perhaps a nontraditional path for systems
engineers, the potential for impact in this area is significant both
during and after a postdoctoral appointment. SUNY Buffalo's Department
of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a highly-ranked institution in the PK and
PD modeling field, and past appointees have moved on to positions in
academe, industry, and government.
Specific instructions for applicants can be found in the formal position
announcement attached to this email. Systems engineers having questions
about translating their existing skills to pharmaceutical sciences should
feel free to contact me directly.
