Postdoctoral position in manufacturing process modeling, monitoring and
control

Department of Chemical Engineering, Auburn University

A post-doctoral research position is currently available in the
laboratory of Professor Jin Wang in the Department of Chemical
Engineering at Auburn University. The goal of the project is to develop
multivariate modeling, monitoring and control methods for manufacturing
processes. 

The research project requires expertise in multivariate statistical
process monitoring and advanced control theory. Preference will be given
to those applicants with a background knowledge of semiconductor
processes and/or pulp & paper processes.

The position is available immediately for a period of one year. A 12-18
month extension is possible with satisfactory progress and availability
of funds. The stipend and benefits are competitive. To apply for the
