The SEC Library is seeking a responsible, high service-minded library
student for full-time, or near full-time, employment.
The student will provide assistance with a wide-range of library and
content management services for SEC staff nationwide.
· Acquisition of business and legal information resources
· Password management
· Coordination of user testing and training for new information services
· Web content development and maintenance
· Research requests
Candidates meeting these requirements are encouraged to apply:
· Current enrollment or accepted for enrollment in an accredited college
or university library school seeking a master’s degree in
library/information science
· Ability to work effectively with others
· Aptitude with word processing and spreadsheet software (Word and Excel
preferred)
· Organizational skills and attention to detail
· Interest in law or federal government libraries
· Eager to learn and contribute
· Resourceful problem solvers
The student will work under the direction of the Library Services Branch
Chief. Work hours can be adjusted to accommodate class schedules.
This is a paid position. Salary is commensurate with experience and
education completed. Minimum starting salary is $42,667.
