The Art Institute of Washington – Northern Virginia campus is seeking a Librarian to provide library, research, and information services to the campus community.  Primary duties and responsibilities include:

•         Library planning and development 

•         Reference services

•         Technical services

•         Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will demonstrate:  knowledge of current theory, practices, and issues pertaining to library science; an ability to plan projects, report outcomes, and manage a variety of responsibilities; proven customer service skills; a familiarity with art, design, or other subjects taught at the school; excellent oral and written communication skills; and an ability to develop and maintain print and online resources.

This position requires a Master's degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited school.
