I urge all ALA members to take a moment to please cast your vote for the
next ALA President.

Polls close this Friday, 4/23.

Please help counteract the downward trend in participation.  Currently,
voter turnout is only 14.76%.  That's 18% less than 2009 - and 2009
finished 25% below 2008.   
 
I abide by LISTSERV protocol and will not indulge in partisanship, but
will happily provide endorsements for the candidate I am supporting, off
list.  I do urge all ALA members to visit the candidates’ websites
(http://mollyraphael.org and http://skj4ala.com) and make an informed
choice.
