A postdoctoral position is currently available in the Process Systems Engineering Laboratory at 
MIT. The successful candidate will join the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing 
working on strategies for the deployment of continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing. The 
project is sponsored by a major international corporation and the candidate's responsibilities will 
include frequent interaction with and reporting to the sponsor.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (or related area) with expertise in 
chemical process modeling, simulation and optimization (mathematical programming), particularly 
mixed-integer modeling and optimization. Interested applicants should send a detailed curriculum
