Want research experience?
In the HCIL, we're looking for students to help collect data for a large qualitative study on adolescent Internet searching. Students will be able to schedule their own hours to some degree, and the time commitment will vary from 20 hours one week to no work for several weeks. This phase of the study is expected to last three or four months, and there is the possibility of extending work through data analysis and publication. No experience with data collection is necessary, but students should have a high comfort level with children and adolescents. Access to a car is necessary, as data collection will take place in the community. Compensation is 10$ per hour. Students will be advised by Dr. Allison Druin and directly supervised by graduate student Beth Foss.
Please email Beth Foss at [log in to unmask] to set up an interview.
Thanks!
