The District of Columbia Area Health Sciences Libraries (DCAHSL)

invites you to attend an exciting program planned for our November 15,
2010 meeting. We will be hosting a panel discussion entitled:
“Clinical Librarians/Informationists: Voices from the Field”. Come
join us and learn more about our group and about opportunities in
medical/health librarianship. This is also a great way to meet
professionals working in the field.
The panel will consist of local librarians/informationists who are
embedded with or attend rounds with clinical teams. They will share
their experiences, including what a typical day is like, challenges
they face, and what training and education has prepared them for their
role. Elaine Sullo, MLS, MAEd, Coordinator, Information and
Instructional Services, Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library, The George
Washington University Medical Center will serve as moderator. Our
panelists will be:
