Neuroscience research position available
Opportunity for hands on lab experience in a Neuroscience research lab at USUHS in Bethesda. The lab studies neuroplasticity and reorganization of the cerebral cortex in response to injury. Located across the street from NIH. Metro accessible. Volunteer Position. Academic credit is available, consult your academic advisor. Student must have completed at least 1 year of chemistry and 1 year of biology. Responsibilities may include: immunohistochemistry and analysis, histology of brain tissue, analyzing behavioral tests, using dyes to trace axonal changes, and more. Please be available for one of the following schedules for the remainder of the summer: All day Monday, along with Wednesday and Friday afternoons, and all day Monday with Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
