DUTIES
By providing the skills not readily available in the military but crucial to supporting military operations, civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the mission of the Department of the Army. With
approximately 30,000 such civilian employees, the United States Army Medical Command maintains the day-to-day healthcare of active and retired soldiers and their families through a global network of medical
treatment facilities.
As a dental assistant with the Army Medical Command, you will:
Assist at chairside in all phases of general dentistry
Take on clinic maintenance and record-keeping responsibilities related to patient medical history
Sterilize instruments, materials, and equipment; prepare surgical trays; maintain dental equipment; and store and keep up adequate levels of supplies
REQUIREMENTS
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
A Bachelor’s Degree with completed courses related to dentistry or one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
