Cost: Free for UMD students, faculty and staff!

The University of Maryland Technology Startup Boot Camp is an intensive, one-day workshop about how to launch and grow new ventures, taught by regional leaders in entrepreneurship.

This year University of Maryland President Wallace D. Loh will give away an official designer Under Armour Terps jersey donated by the football team to a lucky attendee! A drawing for free copies of the book "The Four Steps to the Epiphany" will also be held. Must pre-register for the event and be present to win for both giveaways.

Bob Dorf, Steve Blank's consulting and writing partner, K&S Ranch, and a serial entrepreneur/investor
The customer development process detailed in Steve Blank's best-selling book, "Four Steps to Epiphany," is still a guiding light for the tech startup industry as it approaches its 10th birthday. "Customer Development: The Second Decade" is in development by co-authors and partners Steve Blank and Bob Dorf and looks at what's changed in customer development since the movement began a decade ago. The new book is the basis of the Stanford Lean Launch Pad and the NSF I-Corpscurriculum.
