The following email pertains to the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Future Leaders Program. Please pass this information along to your students. They’re looking for students with science and/or engineering backgrounds.

Are you looking for an employer who can offer you a competitive salary, provide a long-term career, and allow you to make a difference in the safety and security of our nation? You can get all that and much, much more at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
NNSA is responsible for the management and security of the nation’s nuclear weapons, nuclear nonproliferation and naval reactor programs. It also responds to nuclear and radiological emergencies in the United States and abroad. Additionally, NNSA federal agents provide safe and secure transportation of nuclear weapons and components and special nuclear materials along with other missions supporting the national security.
The NNSA is pleased to announce that our agency is currently accepting applications for the Future Leaders Program (FLP) Class of 2012. The FLP is a two-year entry level career development program that provides top of the line training and developmental opportunities to participants to prepare them for a career in public service, with the NNSA. The FLP application is currently open until Sunday, November 13th!

Below, please find the link to the application for the positions. Please review the qualifications (link below) for the program before applying. (http://nnsa.energy.gov/federalemployment/ourjobs/developmentalprogramspositions/futureleadersprogram/examineflp)

Additionally, attached, please find the job summary for each of the positions. The FLP application and job summaries can also be found on our website: www.nnsa.energy.gov/futureleaders.
